    What is A Manual of Acupuncture web app?

    The Manual of Acupuncture online edition is a multimedia resource for students and practitioners. It has been designed to replace (and enhance) our previously published DVD-Rom/download. It includes the entire text of A Manual of Acupuncture by Peter Deadman and Mazin Al-Khafaji with Kevin Baker, in digital form. It also includes:

    • Videos of how to locate and needle every point of the fourteen channels, plus 35 extra points.
    • Animations of the pathways of the primary channels and vessels.
    • Location, body area, multiple choice, Chinese point name, classification, channel pathway, point group and custom tests to facilitate studying.
    • Add your own notes function.
    • Fully searchable.
    • Desktop/laptop/iPad compatible (Android tablets version coming soon!).
    • Accessible on all your compatible devices with a single licence.

    How to access the application

    • You will need to buy or rent a licence to use the application.
    • You can choose from a single payment lifetime licence or a monthly rental (upgradable to a lifetime licence after three years). Full information is available by clicking the 'Free 7 day trial' button.
    • Owners of a previously published Manual of Acupuncture DVD-Rom or download can upgrade to the web application for a small fee.

    Technical requirements

    This application is designed to work on devices with a minimum screen resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels. It will function on devices with a lower resolution but may not be displayed as intended.
